PPI claims agents

Hi

Can any advise me please......My wife has claimed a PPI via one of these claims and collect companies but have done very little since. I've had to chase the Halifax for the monies owed.

So do I still have to pay the claim company or can I challenge them to reduce the outstanding bill or not pay them at all

regards

Dave

I am afraid you will still be liable for their fees. Some people get fustarted by the amount of time a claim takes and think its the CMC`s fault but they are ususally just going by deadlines set by the banks of how long they are allowed to investigate claims. Just because you haver chased a payment of money does not mean you have done the claim yourself although if you had come here early you prpbably could have done it seems.
Not all CMC`s are the same....:A

BLINDEDBYMEDIAPROPAGANDA does not always see eye to eye with me (I suppose he doesn't see at all!) but he is correct.

If a CMC does nothing and you chase the CMC up but find you have to do it yourself you might have a case but simply bypassing it is not really going to help your cause.
