how do they allocate payments

in Credit cards
I have credit card wwhich has 17month intrest free balance transfer,and 3 months on spending,the 3 months is now up,how will they allocate my payment to the card,will they take some from spending and some from balance transfers,or another waY ,,hope you can help

The allocation of payments will be in the summary box on the rear of your statement.
The payment will be allocated to the balance which attracts the highest interest rate first, this will be written in the summary box.
