Travel money - Online Currency Exchange or ATM Withdrawl

Hi!
I have a dilema about obtaining foriegn cash, either online currency or a withdrawl from a forirgn ATM with a no transaction card.
My thought was that the most cost effective way to get currency would be to withdraw at a foriegn ATM. The reasoning behind the ATM is, the cash is converted at inter-bank rates (not tourist) which should be better? and there is no fee on my Halifax credit card.

If you're talking about the Halifax Clarity card, this will be cheaper than almost any other method of obtaining currency. Just try to pay the balance off as soon as possible to reduce the amount of interest charged (even if you wait until the end of the month, it will probably still be cheaper than buying currency online).Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon
And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning0 -
