Quidco - Aviva car insurance payment link fails

I'm using Quidco to get a cash back on Aviva car insurance. Once through to Aviva's site, the payment authorisation fails no matter what type of card I use. Aviva say it must be a card issuer problem (which it's not). Quidco have said this is purely down to Aviva (which I expect it is). Anyone else having the same problem?

    Spoke to your card issuer to see whats happening from their view point?

    I've had the same problem since Sunday and posted a thread on here last night. I've had Aviva phone me and try to take payment over the phone telling me it's better to do it that way anyway and the woman tried to convince me to give up on the cashback so I wouldn't have to go through Quidco if I ever needed to talk to my insurer. On commission me thinks to spout such ridiculousness. I obviously refused.... post again if you get any joy with this. It doesn't give me much hope as an insurer to be honest!

    Happy to report that after emailing the people who replied to this thread, Dave Hyam has contacted me, apologised for what happened and resolved the issue straight away. Very pleased with his response - Peteford I'd urge you to get in touch with him (or Rachel) if you haven't already done so. Restored my faith a little bit!
