Hi
I'm trying to book for 2 adults and 3 children all boys aged 11,10 and 6 in London pref. near the Natural History museum so Earl's Court, Kensington, Chelsea maybe. I don't know London much at all. Trying to get hotel sites to seach for a room for 5 or 2 rooms - interconnecting- for 2 and 3 is just beyond me! My jaw is starting to lock at the back now!
Does anyone have any good tips, please - other than 'If you want a holiday, stop at 2 kids!'
thanks in advance.

Im trying to do this too!!! Theres no facility on the hotel websites to search for interconnecting rooms - drives me crazy. made numerous phone calls to fnd some. Fairly readily available. Even premier travel inn have a few! I have 3 under 5's. Need 2 beds and travel cot. Tryng to find a hotel to help is near impossible!!0

Had a look for you and found these for 2 adults and 3 children. Don't forget it depends on when you want to go as they could be booked already. Also, it might be worth trying to find whether you can get a 4 persona room with an additional rollaway bed. That'll give you more options.

For code-a-holic, why not try for a 4 person room and buy a cheap travel cot from Argos when here as it'll save you the money on a more expensive room then. Just a thought really. You cold just leave it when you go if you did not want to lug it back.0 -
Saw this site Blue Monkey. Thanks for trying but when I tried to book for 5 in a room, it was a no go and I got too fed up to go ringing them individually to see if they have connecting rooms. I will ring round next time though as I intend to book further ahead. Thanks to the Say No to 0870 numbers site, I got the number for Travelodge Covent Garden and got 2 family rooms next door to each other for £98 which isn't bad.
For anyone who absolutely needs a 5 bedder try this if you have more cash

Hiya, i have exactly the same problem!! Did this ever get resolved? I've clicked on the links but can't see how to book the connecting rooms, did you have to phone them?
OH and I want to take kids away for xmas treat to see a musical and the winter festival i hyde park. They are 8,10 and 12 so a double connecting to triple would be best then us two have somewhere to sit and chat when they gone to bed!!0 -

These flights are probably available through other websites, it is not a recommendation of lastminute.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
We have 3 children and used to stay in the Comfort Inn chain in London as they were great at giving us interconnecting rooms. http://www.choicehotelseurope.com
We used the web site to find the hotel details and then would phone the booking line to 'tailor fit' to what we needed. 0800 44 44 44
Have you looked at youth hostels? it is possible to book family rooms which, although not interconnecting would certainly accommodate 5 people.
It is hard when your family does not fit the stereotype, I used to be upset by so called family tickets that assumed 2 adults +2 kids... only once was I refused discount for the third child, but the manager ended up giving him free entry!I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0
