I had all the 'what comes next' and insinuations that i dont spend precious time with my kids just because i also buy them presents.
Sorry, rant over!
Aww sorry you have had that kind of reaction on another thread. We are a friendly, happy bunch on here xxAims for 2014
Drink a glass of water a day, Empty handbag at least once a week, Continue "not putting things off" and tackle things head on, Treasure people around me, Stay healthy and well away from hospitals, Continue to declutter/decorate house slowly and not get stressed because I can't do everything at once.0 -
I've wrote my Xmas list, this year we are just getting for our kids, my parents, and my niece and soon to be born nephew. Already got little ones presents from boots 3 for 2, and mums.
Anyone know when stockings come out? I want one for my son he was only 4 weeks old last year so we didn't bother getting him one then.Wishing everyone the best of luck for 2020 ☘️0 -

Thanks BBTHREE
Christmas really is the 1 time of year that i love, and am getting really excited about it this year, as i think it'll be the last year that my youngest believes in Santa!
Every Christmas Eve, we all snuggle up in bed to read 'Twas The Night Before Christmas. I love little traditions like that0 -
Quick question and I'm sorry if this has already been asked. I'm preparing to make my world famous homemade Christmas puddings, and I'm looking for the most cost effective place to buy the dried fruits. Is there anywhere that people would recommend that's good quality but low cost?0

Xmas Eve is actually more important than Xmas Day because traditionally its just us, and DH and I always make sure we are off work and at home. The kids get a xmas eve hamper, we make a gingerbread house, we play games and watch movies, and we go out for a late tea. Then we come home and its bath and bed wearing their new PJs.
I totally love our tradition, even my moody teen DD has said that when she's old and moved out etc, she will always come home to spend Xmas Eve with us.
I am not sure whether my DS still believes or not, but he is definately humouring me.
He thinks that Mummies and Daddies mainly pay for and choose the presents but they get sent to Santa who redelivers them on xmas eve.
He said that his mates at school have said Santa isn't real but they are wrong!Aims for 2014

Yeyyy another local!.
Got to be honest and say that I have never been to Fred Aldous, and I have never been to Abakan, where are they??
Nanamia and I and anyone who can get there and fancies it are planning to meet up at Bents Garden Centre (WA3 5NT).
Date TBC, but it is an open invitation, so why don't you come along, it would be lovely to meet you.
Thinking about it.... How about the peeps on here in the south do something similar?
XxAims for 2014

sandra-lou89 wrote: »Phew going too quickly just took an hour to catch up. Great news about the festive Great British Bake Off, christmas baking is one of the best sorts! Talking of which did anyone admire the gingerbread houses on the preview for next week's GBBO? Inspiration for Christmas I think
I make two houses each year (although on a much smaller scale!) so can't wait to see what they come up with
Yeah I'm looking forward to seeing how they do! I would love to give it ago myself but I'm not sure I'd do a very good job! I'm doing a fruit cake and a chocolate cake and possibly a zebra cake! Yumm0 -
I'm local to Bents garden centre. Can't wait for the Xmas launch on the 10th October. I love the evening classes they do in the run up to Xmas!! If you are meeting up would love to join you. Xx0
