No it was useless as it was simply you havign a go at another poster rather than offering any advice to the OP and explaining why that person was wrong.

As you can see, I agree with you but your post (and the follow up) added nothing to the thread.

OP - you really do need to find out if the garage has messed up. If they have, don't get conned into paying for their mistake!

this thread is in cyber space for ever and a day
my reply was because the poster is wrong
thats why it was so short so nobody else gets sucked into a wrong conclusion

as regards OP well they are dealing with a bunch of monkeys ,how can i help without being there and seeing what mess they have done?
    i cant
so wont post comments that are worthless

    to you mr smart

then why not say "you are wrong"

    instead of inviting an explanation?

No you were trying to make someone back up their position so you could shoot them down and feel all big and clever on the internets.

Here's hoping you take your own advice.
    to you mr smart

    What a child.

End of conversation before your ego ruins the OP's thread.

Manual engines and automatic engines are the same thing, there's no difference. Difference is in the gearbox.

...apart that on the end of a crankshaft for an engine destined for a manual car there'll be a hole for the spigot bearing which isn't necessarily guaranteed to be there on an engine from an auto.

Been there, done that, played that game.

the latest problem is the car make a whirring noise when accelerating but stops once engine has warmed up about half hour, this wasn't a problem before the new engine. As the garage encouraged cash payment there was no reiept and made like they were doing a favour working out of hours etc so didnt push for reciept BIG MISTAKE.
