Help needed to superimpose a head on a photo

Help needed to superimpose a head on a photo please.

I have tried to do this on both Photoshop & GIMP but I can't get it right.

I am trying to superimpose my sons head onto a football players body.

We are having a surprise birthday party for him and I think it will be fun to display the pictures on the night. He is a fanatical Manchester United fan and I want to put his head on a Manchester City players body! lol. He will go mad when he sees it. haha.

Is there anyone out there who is willing to do this for me please?
I have the photos and I can email them to anyone who is willing to help me.
