Fascia Work

We are looking at getting the wooden fascia sanded and painted on our house as they look a bit pants.
We have been quoted this:
"To fix faulty gutter, treat and fill any damaged fascia and soffit , sand and apply one coat of undercoat and one coat of white gloss. .... £ 890
"
This is for a semi detached new build 3 bedroom house.
to do the front, side and back.
I know i dont have the measurements but is this kind of the right price?
Thanks in Advance
Paul

until you actually start removing any damaged parts and seeing how far any rot goes then its hard to know how big the job really is, can be approached in 2 ways, first is the contractor is taking a risk that theres more work than appears and will have to take a hit should it be worse than appears in places, secondly they could just bodge over anything more than what they had quoted.
After filling and treating areas you want it primed before undercoat.0 -
i carry out work like this often for half the price0
