Coleraine university accomodation help!

I will hopefully be attending Coleraine University this coming year but am unsure how to apply for accommodation. Where and when do I apply for on campus accommodation? Also does anyone have any experience living in cranagh village or knocklayde/errigal, what they are like e.g. space, cleanness, and location. Also is the private bathroom worth the extra £800?
Any other tips would be much appreciated

I don't know the uni, but recommend the bathroom! Sharing with 20+ other folk is rough when you're a bunch of savage 18 year olds. Words of experience0

Sorry just to clarify, the university is in northern Irealnd, university of ulster coleraine. I think the cheaper option is 2 bathrooms between 6-9 people. Its just so hard to decide as over £800 is a lot of money but my own bathroom would also be a blessing. What you all think?
Also again does anyone know how or when to apply? thanks0 -
I don't think you need to worry until you have confirmed your place later in the year. Most universities are very used to assigning accomodation to successful candidates in a matter of days.
I would imagine that they will send you a link to an online system once you have confirmed your place. There is no point doing anything early as students change their minds/go to different universities, or defer their place. There are three types of people in this world. Those who can count and those who can't.0 -
Their accommodation website is pretty poorly designed, but I think this is the page you want:

Students wishing to apply for accommodation should do so online here.0 -
Hi you can apply for university campus accomodation NOW as long as you have a CF choice for Coleraine think the forms were opened on 1st May 2012 or there abouts. Check out the university accomodation page and the type of accommadation available here is a posting off it hope it helps you MUST apply by 7th July to be guaranteed a place for 1st year students.
The Cranagh Village
This development consists of 350 bed spaces contained within 70 apartments. Each apartment has five en-suite bedrooms. There are three wheelchair accessible rooms and 38 rooms of a superior standard giving students access to a bigger room.
There are six twin rooms for those students wishing to share a bedroom. Broad band is available in all rooms and residents must follow the university's acceptable use policy.
Microwaves are standard in this development and the communal area of each apartment is serviced once per week.
Each apartment has an access control system. The coin operated launderette is located on site. Students have to register with the Car Park Management team and are responsible for their own car parking charges.
Errigal/Knocklayde
An On Campus terraced housing development adjacent to all university facilities. All houses and flats have access to unlimited broadband through the university network.
This complex consists of 17 houses. The houses are designed for six or nine students to share.
Each individual study bedroom has a built in wardrobe, wash-hand basin as standard, two shower rooms and two separate toilets.
Each kitchen has a microwave. There is a communal area service clean once per week. In the outdoor space there resides a number of picnic tables as well as an outdoor room, for the students to use when they please.

Aha, this would explain why the OP couldn't find out how to apply on April 30th but I was able to see it on May 4th.0
