Fine for curries, I would slow cook first though in case it's a little tough.
I'll probably get 2 packs (if my offer) and use for steak and ale or a pie.

I'll get a couple of packs of biscuits though.

    Thanks for the info.

I will def get some steak to cook in the slow cooker (yep, I know it is frying but I have read that it can be quite tough).

I think the Sondey Chocolate Butter Biscuits are the ones like Morning Coffee with chocolate on the bottom which are very nice.

    ;)

I just told my husband that Granary Roll had posted what was on offer, read out the list and he said " You know what I could just eat out of that lot? Some granary rolls".

I know the ones now, I have bought them from Home Bargains in the past, very nice but never enough in the box! Great at half price though.

    Ta!

Think frying steak might work well in slow cooker with lots of onion, mushrooms, garlic & red wine. Yum !

    No meat update as yet.

EDIT: Just updated and my offer (Newcastle upon Tyne) is cured pork loin joint - 500g and a choice of mixed pepper or honey and mustard - I think I'll give this a try.
