Parcelforce lost my item but won't refund me - help please!

    I wouldn't bother with the LBA, the Royal Mail are exempt from legal action, they have Royal immunity from civil action.
    You need to exhaust all the appeals procedures with them.

    So just to update on this....I sent the appeal letter off about a month ago and last week received a cheque from Parcelforce. It was only to reimburse me for the lost item though, there was no refund for the cost of posting the parcel (£14). I am thinking of applying through the Postal Redress Service to claim some compensation due to the time, hassle and additional costs incurred in trying to sort this out. Parcelforce = never again!!
