I have spread the good word : - Parking Eye ticket

It's been a few weeks since I heard from Debt Recovery plus, so I'm guessing I'm off the hook with that one BUT...
Went to MOSI last weekend, paid £5 to park in a Parking Eye. We were with friends who paid the same. The fee was NOT what was on their printed boards, but they had a board on the way in that said £5 for the day, and an attendant who confirmed, and hovered about the payment machine, "helping" people put their reg # in for the ticket.
My friend text today - she's had a £60 invoice from them! I've told her to ignore it. It's particularly galling as she initially didn't have enough change, and the attendant told he she could settle up when she got back. I refused to allow her, knowing what they're like, so loaned her the change.
Utterly disgusted. MOSI was good tho

Well, it is par for the course. Why accept £5 when you think you can get £60.0

Well quite. I'm waiting for mine now. If I get one, I'll mail you, I'm after some holiday spends

Yes. Plan B can be put into effect this time.......:rotfl::rotfl::)0

It might have been a special deal for £5 for all day parking, most likely they didn't change the settings on the CCTV software to take this into account.
A bit like "free parking" days at a retail park near Christmas to get people into the shops, only to land with an invoice for failing to pay after Christmas as Parking Pie "forgot" to turn off the cameras (which I now think that retail park has given Parking Pie it's marching orders)0 -
Looks like some car park owners are starting to realise just what they are letting loose on their land....0
