I only work 8 hours a week as the companies just been in administration and wont be getting anymore for along time so saving up for it is impossible! tryed looking for a new job too with not much luck either

You could apply for a career development loan, these are designed for vocational courses but at only 6 weeks I'm not sure if this would qualify.
Have a look here:

Not answering your question as such but 6 weeks really isn't long enough to give you anything but the very basics, and if you consider all the breeds out there!! Have you thiought about trying to get some work(voluntary or paid) where they will teach you on the job? Even if you were to get the basics on the job and then pay later for some more in depth lessons on particular breeds.0

In all honesty, I think you'd be barking up the wrong tree when it comes to a CDL for this.
Maybe approach the organisation running the course directly, asking where others obtained funding?0 -

thankyou for all your replys! I have volunteered at groomers and also did an apprenticeship, but doing the apprenticeship I was taken the mick out of the women didnt want me to do anything but wash dogs for her, as I later found out shed done with all the other apprentices just cheap labour she wanted! so I was going to do the intensive course and volunteer once I know the basic cuts and have the qualification (city and guilds) so they can help me to improve them0

Since when have I been remotely serious in anything I've posted?0
