Indeed it was and I was just getting into it, even posting this morning before it mysteriously disappeared ...

Anyone know why the "postie vicious assault" thread was removed?

I believe the original poster may have been banned. All his posts in the praise sky thread have also been deleted. It seems a bit overboard by the mods as unless there was some new stuff posted this morning there was nothing really offensive in the thread

I wasted some time reading that thread last night (I was waiting for Silent Witness to start ). The OP was a troll and was probably more than satisfied that he/she had managed to generate so many pages of responses in such a short amount of time!

To be honest it was quite an eye opener to see how easily an internet troll can whip up that sort of reaction but his/her work here was done so he/she will move on to another forum after being banned/removed from here.

I found the responses from it in the Sky thread more obnoxious though...repeating "Shut Up" over and over deserved attention from mods and I don't think they were being overboard at all.

Anyway at the risk of falling victim myself to a now banned troll I'll go put the washing out now the monsoon seems to have passed :j

VB has a tool to remove all traces of a new user
(depending on admin parameters)
so a couple of clicks and its done
easier than going through threads to delete posts
