    Good morning everyone. It is a rather wet day here today so I’m glad I will be busy in the office. Well I am glad to say that the upbeat positive mood is continuing, I might have to visit MIL a bit more often if it is going to have this effect on me.

    DNMS – Thanks for starting us off this morning.
    Ladybird – Welcome to the thread

    My list for today:
    :)[STRIKE]Check bank and pay some money off loan[/STRIKE] Another £100 paid
    :)[STRIKE]All meals from stores[/STRIKE]
    :)[STRIKE]Surveys and one poll[/STRIKE]
    :)[STRIKE]Wait in for Mr A delivery[/STRIKE]
    :)[STRIKE]Write meal plans for this week after order has been delivered[/STRIKE]
    :)[STRIKE]Do work that is in for today[/STRIKE]
    :)[STRIKE]Look into available jobs[/STRIKE]
    :)[STRIKE]Check return date for library books and renew[/STRIKE] Unfortunately I did not do this in time and have incurred late fines :mad:
    :)[STRIKE]Finish sorting out course work and setting study times [/STRIKE]
    :)[STRIKE]Renew car tax[/STRIKE]

    I think that is everything that I need to get completed today. Hope everyone has a good Monday.
    Aiming to get Debt Free.

    Hi everyone,

    Thanks for starting us DNMS.
    La Escocesa - Ooh I missed this! When did you get a puppy? Pics please! I am a sucker for cute things lol. Also bit of a random question, but when you got your wedding bouquet preserved, how much did you pay if you don't mind me asking & what did you get done? I'm thinking about it but it's mega bucks from what I've seen so far!

    Today's small things:-
    • Food from stores
    • Leftovers for lunch
    • Make use of free water at work
    • Log calories using free app
    • Charge phone at work
    • Check for surveys
    • Enter comps
    • Check online banking
    • Heating is off
    • Work on wedding related tasks
    • Dinner from meal plan
    That's about it for me, have a great MSE day everyone x

  • Hi all!

    So the sun has finally come out in the shire! About time, we were all starting to grow scales and fins!

    Today I will:
    * NSD (am trying the divide your money into envelopes thing and feeling skint!! I'm hoping this works)
    * Put a load in the washing machine, beg it to work and give it lots of praise (worried its on its last legs so gonna keep it alive with kindness)
    * Check banks
    * Hunt for freebies on qc, any polls I can do.
    * All meals from stores
    * Run hoover around
    * Try to liberate an envelope from work tomorrow

    I'm worried that since my birthday at the weekend I have become a bit OCD about this paying off the debt thing, maybe its an early midlife crisis? Anyone else feel like they are a bit obsessive?

    Hope you are all enjoying the sun!

    S x
    I have enough money for the rest of my life... as long as I never have to pay for anything again!

    ha ha sunshine yup everyone gets a little obsessive and its ok as long as its shortish term! Short term sacrifices for a long term gain. But if you can squeeze an extra tenner to go out for your birthday do it!

    btw loving ur style, you come across as very quirky! :D
