Just wondered what people thought of the price:
remove old back boiler, fire, tanks and cylinder
fit valliant ecotecpro28 boiler in kitchen with 5 year warranty
new radiator valves
Honeywell roomstat
New gas from meter to boiler
fit new gas fire
£1650 - 500 grant =£1150 fitted
new radiator in lounge add £120 ,all new £500
I'm just a bit wary as it all seems a bit vague, so no idea what kind is being put on and it was only after asking what model of boiler it was did i find out. Forgot to say found him on mybuilder as i've always lived in rented so its the first time i've had to deal with this kind of thing before
Has anyone had any dealings with this boiler, is it suitable for a 2 bedroomed house (which is quite big tbh and want to stay warm) and do the costing sound right?

It seems a good price to me. I just paid £2100 for a similar job but had the boiler moved to the garage but no gas fire added.
I'm sure somebody with a better knowledge of these things can add more information but it seems a very good price - even better with the grant I wish I'd got a grant!0 -
Boiler is more than big enough to cope with your property size.
Only thing I would say is to pay slightly more and have the Ecotec Plus 831 fitted.0
