If they can find all of our details and company car scrapes on their computer, then surely a No Claims Bonus means nothing - they would already know about it without needing a certificate. Most insurers don't count years driving company cars as 'no claims' anyway.
Gosh, if I really didn't have to get a car to get to work- I really wouldn't.
No claims for the purpose of no claims bonus is earnt if the are no claims on your policy.0 -

Surely that would contradict with company car claims though? Ok, so you got five years no-claims on your policy but you've crashed the work car ten times? I genuinely don't get it, like I said I understand housing insurance but car insurance is bonkers.0 -
I wouldnt listen to Sharpy, (Risk It)
They are the type of person that post on here my insurance has been cancelled or the refused to payout because i commited fraud when taking out the policy.
If your name is linked, You were the driver or neighbour claimed etc, You need to find out if it went through the insurers.
Your meant to disclose all incidents, whether a claim was made or not.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
If you don't, you breach your policy conditions, which (as already posted), can mean you end up with no cover in the event of a claim!
Thanks for your help, I've emailed my old company today to ask them if they can give me the details of the incident - so hopefully they can provide me with all the information I need.
Thanks all.0
