Excel tricky question... help please.

In cell A1 Type in "C".
In cell A2 Type in "1"

In cell C1 Type in 12, D1 type in 13, E1 type in 14

In cell A3 Type in the formula =A1&A2

Now - in cell A3 you should see "C1"

What I would like to have is to see the contents of CELLl C1 in A3.
So...If I change cell A1 to "D" this would show me 13
...and "E" would show me 14.


Anyone got any ideas on how to achieve this.
Been going through Microsoft help...but I'm stumped.

In A3 put:

=INDIRECT(A1&A2)
