Bossymoo.. sending you upper lip viagra! It must be incredibly hard to do.. I'd be a pap and end up storing it all forever I'm sure. The teddies sound a wonderful idea. I'd get them done as a christmas present and wrap them up as gifts from daddy.
Kaz.. Moomin is obsessed with cats so leopard print everything is a must.. that and Hello Kitty! I think she will love shoes given she has had Piedro boots since she was 6.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Morning all
Dry here today at the moment so about to put WM1 on the line and WM is doing.
Need to take DS2&3 to look for jeans this afternoon as neither have any now.
Hope to get an hour in the garden this morning first so best get a move on.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Bossymoo, the teddies are a fabulous idea. I have a patchwork cushion I made from OH's ties which I treasure. There is no time limit on how long you have to put off doing the dreaded wardrobe clear of DH's stuff and don't feel guilty about NOT doing it. When you are ready you will do it. I have a memory box of things (mainly stupid things) which I keep some of OH's things. I shall be thinking of you while you tackle this awful chore xx
I had a good sewing day yesterday and finished another cushion, I made a pair of baby slippers and I have a pair of felt baby shoes that need hand finishing tonight. I dried a w/m full of washing and have got it ready for the family to put away. I have put another w/m load on this morning since the liquid drought seems to be well and truly not putting in an appearence today. I am hoping to get up in my sewingroom shortly and get some more done. D/W is on and almost finished, not sure what I shall slop on a plate for tea tonight but plenty in the freezer.
All those of you having a difficult time :grouphug:0 -
Morning all, hope you're all having a good bank holiday weekend. I've just cleaned inside of DHs car so a start has been made. Will do all of DDs car later. About to put netting on the strawberries and will probably just potter about in the garden today. It's a lovely sunny day and the dog walk was really enjoyable.Spend less now, work less later.0

2 cups of tea decluttered
15 ebay listings done so I now have 30 listings needing descriptions and they can join the 30 items I have listed already! I will make a dent in this mountain of ebay stuff.. I have picked a couple of 4-5 bits out which Tiddles (7.5y/o) outgrew about 18 months ago because they will fit Squeak (21months) very soon! lol..
Best dress Dot and change her stinky boo.. she is so much happier and the osteopath appears to have done a fabulous job with the shape of her head.. and she is much less grumpt than she was, still not the beaming giggly baby Squeak was at her age.
Todays list..
change bedding and do a spot of reshuffling in my room.
catch up on some washing
fling and vacuum in the back room which is quite skip like!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Bossymoo the teddies sound lovely. Give yourself time sweetie, you will know when you are ready and nobody here will nag you to get it done x
Vanilla hope you enjoy Eva's special day and glad Rhys enjoyed his birthday
CY hope DD is getting some rest
Kaz hope you feel better soon, as you get older 2 days to get over a hangover is not uncommon I'm afraid, makes me much more restrained as writing off two day is so annoying. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Hello  I have been awol

I have been trying desparately to do work paperwork (it's endless!), and studying and keeping on top of dailies. The diet has gone out the window!
As if I didn't have enough to do, I have a 6 month old baby starting with me on Tuesday! I said yes, and then thought of all the things I will need to get!! I have decided that I will make do with the double buggy I have unless I find it too heavy, and will see how I go this week & then decide if I need a travel cot & some new toys. I will borrow a highchair if I need it (he is not quite sitting up, so won't need it yet). I only have him until the end of June anyway, as that is when the parents finish their GCSE's
Ok - food shop done. need to summon the energy to take doggie out, then it's back to the books.
Bossymoo - the teddies sound a lovely idea. I was also interested in your milk free ideas
I may have to pick your brains! Is it milk protein your LO is intollerant to, or lactose?
Parental responsibilty - Children Act 1989 - post 2003, if the dad is on the birth cert he automatically has PR, if not he has to apply for it.
Hugs, sticks & spoons to those that need them x0 -
Afternoon all, not long back and Miss Eva was brillant all day. Rhys on the other hand refused to eat anything and had to be taken out of the hotel a few times, he's now snoozing in bed with OH.
Think i'm gonna grab a cuppa, upload some pics from today and get the wm on. Might even find the energy to give the bathroom a clean and cut DD's hair.
Mumto5 thank you for your kind words. I'm so thrilled to be her Godmother.
Bossymoo i think the teddies are a fab idea.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
DW emptied and refilled
WM's both on
I appear to have acquired an extra child tonight.. she is 1 of 16!!! see.. I am quite restrained! They have/are all growing up in care though
She is the 1 KH squawked about DD2 staying with on Friday.
Off to find Henry and get him to eat Squeaks mess! The cat did an ok job but there is more
.. then it is pj's and bed for these lot.. LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
