Morning lovelys
Well I am 2 days behind despite having an extra day off yesterday
Thursay was hairdresser evening so after 2 hours in the seat came home and DH was back from his travels so had to spend time with him catching up.
Yesterday walked into town with him as he wanted to support his friend who was having an open day at the hotel he has just finished refurbishing. I went off to do a bit of clothes shopping which wasnt very successful although I did get a jacket and dress from m and s that I'd seen a couple of months ago and thought were lovely but this time were less than half price :money: Went back to find DH who was happily ensconced in the bar with a group of pals so it would have been rude not to join them, especially when there was free champers kept arriving at our table
. Needless to say there was no flying last night either.
So this morning Ihave managed to make a cuppa, crawl back to bed and read 2 days worth of posts.
Lots of love and hugs to offer - impossible for me to remember all who need them so apologies (I do still have a tiny bit of a bad head
) and pigpen - like KH has a hope in he11s chance of getting custody.
Not sure of my plans today, think I need to check bank accounts
and may take DD out as just me and her today. Might also photograph my clothes as I have what seems like a very useful little app on my phone/tablet if I just got round to doing it. Need another cuppa but by the sound of DD's breakfast bowl ther may not be any milk left. Oh well, back later xxx Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
Morning all, it's Rhys's B'day tomorrow and Eva's christening so we're having a party for Rhys today. I can't believe he's 3...
So i have banners to put up and balloons to blow up.
Need to give the kitchen and livingroom a quick tidy and try and get Rhys out of the house for an hour so i can get his surprise in.
Right i best shift and make a start...
Juliejim glad to here your OH is home, hope he's ok.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Wow Vanilla - it only feels like a few months since you were worrying about feeling sick! Hope he has a lovely party.
Hugs to all those in need, I have to plead guilty to just skimming. Busy week with little free time. House is a tip. Vague plan to do a HHC on every room over the weekend just to try and get a bit of control back if anyone else fancies a deep clean rather than watching the mess multiply?
I have been making a major effort to not just tidy up after other people even when it is quicker than getting them out of bed and making them come downstairs and sort it. You can imagine just what a nagging unpopular witch I am now

Piggers – What sane person would give your KH custody????Seriously :rotfl:
The kind that had not asked the children what they want.. I am happy for them to go whenever they want but equally I am not going to force them to do something they don't want to do.. apart from showering and homework and stuff!
Given he refuses extra time during holidays and to pick them up from school the days he is supposed to have them after school I'm not sure how that would work if he had custody I only have 2 days a month I don't see them, I'm not complaining but he is so unwilling to see them.. I tried!.. and if he starts work at 7 how could he get them up and ready and out to school? And there would be no more dance classes or gym or pub.. he'd love that given he puts his social life ahead of the children as it is!
DD2 is 15 in July.. as if a judge would do anything without speaking to her first.
DD1 and DS1 both said if he tries anything they will go speak to the judge and solicitors and tell them how he treated them.. and a couple of occasions we have records of the incidents.
Aa far as I know he is supposed to be able to contact the children at all times, DD2 has a mobile he can ring but he has no legal obligation to know exactly where she is/an address .. especially as I knew it. He isn't even entitled to know my address.
He then said the friends foster parents are sex offenders and child abusers.. because we all know what foster carers are like.. obviously all apart from him!!! These have been fostering years and had DD2's friend at least 4 years to my knowledge and have 2 others at the moment too.. but he didn't ask her any of this. He claimed not to have ever seen this friend so I described her knowing full well he has seen her many times (she had bright pink hair last summer
hard to forget really!)
Anyway.. enough of his stupidity.. he is all wind and pi$$, I just hope he doesn't take it out on the other children as he is prone to do.
Squeak woke us up this morning with "Daddy! Daddy! Get me! Daddy, come NOW!!! Daddy where are you? Daddy!!!!" So I got an extra hour in bed until Dot woke up starving! heehee!!
Tesco run today and I have some shoes and boots to collect for Squeak for next winter so I can save some quids!
I shall write a list and head off... OH can do :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: .. Apparently the fat cats scoffed all the cat food! Morning Ladies so many ups and downs going on in your lives so massive hugs to all who need them.:grouphug: Pigpen (can I be cheeky and call you Piggers it sounds more friendly?):rotfl:You sound a wonderful Mum, we have small stepson living with us (was just dumped on doorstep) My DH doesn't have PR so SHE who must be obeyed must still be obeyed coz she won't give PR its a pain for everyone. PR is a farce really isn't it no matter which side of the line you stand.
I AM going to have a sewing day today I am and nothing or nobody is going to stop me!!! *Duck Pink Pigs Over Head* I have so much machine sewing to do I have caught up with all the hand sewing now. I have some novelty cushions to make, some baby shoes for my Goddaughter who has just had a beautiful baby boy, a Winnie the Pooh cot quilt and a padded book for DS1 who is expecting a baby with his partner next month. There is the ongoing patchwork cushion covers for when the suite gets around to being reupholstered (I need some spare muscle for this job). I have filled the freezer with veg, meals and baking so there is no reason why I can't get going on this today (Yeah Right!)
Have a good day everyone and take care xx0 -
Piggers he sounds like a dream lol.
Well I have chucked the tots out in the garden, cleaned dining room and kitchen, wmx1 and folded all the dry clothes. Tots are back in now, complaining of cold lol, even though the sun is shining. Now watching Nemo. Again.
Just going to hang the washing out and I think that's us done for today.
I have started to move into the spare room, as this month I'm decorating my bedroom, so maybe just low level flying this month. It will probably take weeks since I'm working and have the kids at home, so just the odd hour here and there. Inlaws would take the tots but they go on hol next weekend, and have lots to do.
Just a case of being organised!

depending on age he might automatically have PR.. and no judge would deny him it and it is easy enough to represent yourself. there is a guide on here somewhere. It gets granted to some very dodgy dads!
Piggers is fine.. though longer then pigpen lolPiggers he sounds like a dream lol.
Oh you don't know the half of it. It is such a shame he throws away his relationship with the children when there are dads who have no choice and would give anything to spend more time with them.
List written.. girls dressed.. finishing my cuppa and I'll get dressed and we will go brave tesco with my £40 of vouchers! lolLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
:rotfl:Piggers just sounds more cosy and friendly. As for the PR DH is on the birth cert but as he sensibly (imho) didn't marry her it isn't automatic. Each time we almost get to court she moves a mm just enough to halt progress. So frustrating! Later this year it should all get settled:)0
