Hello,
My daughter has just turned 13yrs old and is interested in a bank account
Perhaps there's accounts aimed at teenagers.
Perhaps some offer incentives.
All help appreciated.

I'd recommend http://www.lloydstsb.com/current_accounts/under_19s_account.asp however they don't do internet banking until you're 16.0

Assume she's after something that looks like a current account, rather than savings?
HSBC offer looks quite 'grown up' yet safe.0 -
Have a word at school,
My eldest started his bank account at school when I think it was Barclays had a special even thingy.

If the balance is likely to be modest the criteria for me are:
1) Branch convenient to home or school.
2) Location and convenience of ATM.
3) Not called Santander.
The Lloyds TSB account linked above is decent rate and does the job well, but most banks will be able to provide a debit card and counter facilities to a 13 year old.0 -

Looks like TSB is the best choice0
