Hi all, hope someone can help. We are getting some new audio equipment put in and the salesman said it would be an idea to get an HDMI Cable in but it cost £150 for 10m. Anyone know of getting this cheaper. The name of it is qunex HDMI - P Cable.

They do different lengths as well. It might be worth checking whether you nees 10m or whether 7.5m will do (the salesman could be trying to upsell, saying they only do 10m, etc)0 -

Hope that helpsAlways looking for a bargain and to help0 -
why do you need such an expensive cable?
You would need top end equipment across the board (no exceptions) for the cable to make any noticable difference!

I maybe completely wrong here but from bits that I have picked up about HDMI etc over the last few years as its a digital signal it will either work or not work and the cable quality will not affect the picture.

digital signals either work or dont.
so generally it does not really matter what quality the wire is.
anyone who pays 150 quid for a bit of wire is completely nuts.
you can get them for less than 20 quid, as been shown on here.Get some gorm.0
