Vertical line when playing DVD

When playing a DVD through our Panasonic Blu ray DVD player, a blue vertical line appears on the far right of the TV screen. It is more visible when the picture is white or pale. When just watching the TV the line isnt there, so therefore it must be the DVD player. Any advice? Thanks.

This can often be as simple as the scart lead being just slightly out.
Id pull them out, check none of the pins are bent then connect firmly.
