£50 Court fee surely? £25 issue, £25 hearing? So it was £11.25 each. Just made minimum wage, then.

Was the £15 actually sent in the form of a cheque or just offered in correspondence? It's what's paid that counts, not what's talked about!

If the former even a tired, bored judge should have disallowed their costs completely.

I suspect that judges award claimants nominal amounts just to shut them up.

It's like awarding damages of 1p in libel cases.
The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life. :)

If I remember right when Smithy first posted he was thought to be a troll because he posted up that the court issue fee was £15!
However that's right as Pannone has a direct connection for issuing claims they issue the paperwork themselves and it is just lodged at Northampton.

Look at claims made by centre users!

Just an update,it's been a while ,I sent LPS the £10 I felt I owed them ,informing them that the only circumstance under which they would receive a single penny more was in the sole event of a county court judgement in their favour,They have cashed the cheque and I have heard no more, Thank you again to all those who took time to reply to me,I suspect this is the end of this Post, let's see !
  • Glad they've given up but I think you could have got the same result and been £10 better off by ignoring these outrageous parasites.

Having said that, if £10 buys you peace of mind then it's £10 well spent.
