Tax help!!!

Hi I was wondering if anyone could help me,

I've recently gone self employed to work freelance in the media industry. The problem I have is that all my contracts are short some are PAYE and some are not. I only had 2 PAYE jobs in the last tax year and both were taxed with the code OT so for the amount I earned I've ended up paying a lot of tax and I'm not really sure how I can go about getting this changed?? I'm new to all this and finding it very confusing at the minute so if anyone is experienced in dealing with both and give me some tips and advice it would very, very much appreciated!!

Thanks :)

Did you complete a P46 or hand in a P45? If not do so and you will get a proper tax code for PAYE.
