Hi
I have TVs which have USB playback on them. I would like to transfer some kids DVDs onto the media stick. I have downloaded DVD shrink and what I though was changed the format of the DVD on their and then I was going to put onto USB but did not work.
Please can anyone advise who are the best to use and the easy way (if their is one) Thanks in advance

What format do the TVs play, what format did you convert the DVDs to ?
What size (in GB) are the sticks ?
What didn't work .. the shrinking process, the playing on the TV or something else ?0 -
Some TVs are very fussy about the format they will play from a USB stick. They may only accept certain codecs, certain pixel resolutions etc, take a look at the manual, this should tell you more.
The most common format for USB playback is .avi files in either a Divx or Xvid format, you will need to convert the DVD files to one of these formats.
Take a look at one of the specialist forums in this field such as AVforum or Videohelp, these will show you the right path.

DVD Shrink is old now and won't always remove copy protection.
I use DVDFab - it's a fully functioning trial and many features still work afterwards anyway.
As above, check the manual for what formats your TV supports - DVDfab is almost gauranteed to have it available in the conversion list, but be prepared to wait though - ripping & converting can take quite some time, depending on the speed of your PC!0
