How do I know whether I'll get cashback?

Price comparison says I can save £180 switching to Scottish Power

Can also get £42 cashback for switching via quidco online - Clicked from Quidco to Scottish Power and completed the form/quote but....

How do I know whether I'll get cashback?

No confirmation on S/Power website - just completing a standard form - No voucher code - no mention??
When will the "Edit" and "Quote" button get fixed on the mobile web interface?

You just look in your Quidco account and see if it's tracked-it won't show up anything on the SP site as it's just a click through, no voucher code is required.

No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

According to MSE Martin, when the money lands in your bank account you know you've got it.

Until then, there are no guarantees as to whether or not you'll get the cashback offered.

Is this the first time you have used quidco ?

As long as you registered an account with them and cleared your cookies, as macman advises, then the transaction should track.

If it doesn't track enter a manual claim after a week or so.

You won't get the cashback until well after the accounts have switched. My fastest cashback was 28 days with a mobile phone but , as an example, Admiral car insurance took a full 11 months to come through.

Make sure you read all the usefull advice given on the Quidco or Topcashback site.

As Premier says, nothing is guaranteed, however I have not had a cashback failure since starting them 5 years ago.

    I didn't realise Quidco kept a record - I'll have a look

Of course they do-it's Quidco that pay you, not Scottish Power!
Do you actually have a Quidco account?

Hi, if you want to check if a transaction has been recorded log in to the account , click to start a cashback claim and see if it is listed there but don't actually complete the claim until the required time has elapsed.

If it isn't listed there then you cannot put in a claim and have no chance of getting the cashback.
