    Mine took 2 days too.

We found that we had to use about half the recommended sugar, otherwise it tasted like cake, and about a third less salt. All a matter of taste, I suppose.

Thanks op. Just ordered mine - been wanting a BM for ages and this sounds like a great bargain. It also does well on the Which magazine test, not far behind the Panasonic, which is 3 times the price.
  • have just ordered mine as well! I already have a morphy richards breadmaker (an old twin loaf one) but it's really big and bulky and the kneading thing doesn't drop down so am looking forward to this one arriving then i can put the old one under the stairs for if i ever need to make loads of loaves in one go! you can't beat making your own bread (especially with none of the hassle of having to knead it, wait for it to rise then knead it again!) and it's sooooo much cheaper than buying a loaf!:T :T :T :T :T :T :T
:hello:  It's official I'm addicted to Boots - the total on my Advantage Card has gone over £300  :hello:

Got mine yesterday and made the first loaf. The kids loved it and the smell of fresh bed lingered around the house. Very happy with the purchase.

Yesterday i saw a Morphy Richards Breadmaker in a Co-Op, priced at £29.99. Didn't look at the model #, but may be worth a look?

The Stainless Steel BM seems to be out of stock now, although the Compact is still available. It is still worth keeping an eye on the site, as offers come and go!
