Clements car insurance helpline number?

Options
Hi,

somebody drove in my parked car and I don't have any 24hr helpline number from insurance.

Has anybody dealt with them?

The only number is an office number which is offline.

Searching on google, they seem to be a US-based insurer specialising in international car insurance:

  • Thanks,

thats the only number I found as well. Its a office number and only a voice mail.
    Very disappointing.
They have an online claim form, but do I need to make a claim if it was not my fault?

  • Does anybody managed to make a claim with this Clements Insurer? I am buying an audi a3 and with them it will cost me just £777 per year and the second cheapest insurer on confused.com is asking for £1400 :O Huge difference so I am suspicious. tried to call but yes - it will go to voicemail and even I left a voice mail they never responded :(

Not worth the risk. If they dont have proper details.

I had a really cheap quote on the comparison websites. Turned out it was registered abroad and didnt have any UK offices. Just a number.

I couldnt be bothered to check to see if they were properly registered.

  • Hi all, last month I took out a policy with Clements. Today I checked my account and the money for my car insurance was returned to my account. Ive tried to contact the insurance company but I can only get through to an answering machine. Can an insurance policy be canceled with any notice? Am I insured any more or do I need to find another insurer?
