    Aww, bless you! :)

It does what it says on the tin, fine sand has much finer grains so will be more powdery; coarser sand has slightly bigger grains so will not be powdery but more crunchy underfoot.

I'm guessing that one may be better for building sandcastles than the other but I've no idea which! :D

I'm also guessing that powdery sand would be much kinder on little ones' skin but considering both of my little ones have four legs and a tail I would be inclined to take any comment I make about childcare with a very large pinch of salt (or sand!) :rotfl:

And here was me thinking that sand was just plain old sand. Learn something new everyday ;-)

Have a look at the Portonova Apartments PalmaNova Majorca. Very nearly on the beach, Childrens play area close by, close to shops & restaurants. PalmaNova is only a short distance from the airport too. Ideal situation for young family.

I will go against all other suggestions - have you thought about a mobile home in France/Italy - going with the likes of Keycamp/eurocamp.

If you so wished, you can take your own car with you and therefore have more of your things that you have at home. I wish we had discovered them when ours were that small, however have been with them now for about 6 years on the trot.

We took our 2 year old daughter to canaries cay beach villas direct from glasgow to fuertaventura. Used compare4us.com to get us the best deal as it compared a lot of the top websites all in one go and different destinations and dates. Got a cheap hotel with them and booked the flight separately. One of the most simplest comparison sites i've found so far.
