hi,
I have been having trouble with my laptop recently, i find the hard runs non-stop for about 30-60 mins after start up and the processor runs at 100%. This has caused the screen to go all 1 colour and the whole base is realy hot.
I have found that a proccess called CLMLSERVICE.EXE runs between 70-99%, i have put it in to google and there was varied results some websites say it can be classed as a danger and some say its safe. I have panda I.S 2007 up to date on it and that is picking up any troubles.
I have tried ending the proccess but it comes back after about half an hour. Some times when i end it it cuts out the sound so the speaker and the headphone jack don't work.
I'm not that sure what to do about it. Anyone else had simiual troubles.

It is part of Cyberlink Power cinema. and should be located in a sub directory of the Programs Files folder search your system to find out where the file is located if it is anywhere other than a sub directory of program files then it is likley to be spyware or somthing.
Depending on how computer literate you are you may want to remove the entry starting the program from where ever it is, registry or servces. Even unistall any DVD player software from cyberlink. if the problem goes away then it was a genuine peice of software gone abit haywire, if not then you need to find the file and stop it loading on startup there are a few places it could e set to start so untill you know if it is a genuine cyberlink problem I won't go any further.
maybe a hijackthis log would be usefull so grab a copy and post the log0
