Might go in the morning (10am), any ideas which route is best?

Can do M25/M4 and then through central London; A3 and then across Tower Bridge; or M25/A2.

Is there any free parking nearby?

Hammersmith Flyover is closed on Sunday, so I'd avoid going in on the M25/M4. Even around Wandsworth and the A3 could be busier than usual as people divert there.

The M25/A2 could be the better option.

    I'd do A3.

Upper Thames St by Southwark bridge is shut, so go over at Tower Bridge, don't go via Elephant and Castle, set your set nav to Baylis Road (Waterloo) and then Long Lane (SE1) then Excel. for a route that avoids most of the traffic in that part of London.

You can Park for free on the sing yellow lines today in Union Street (SE1) and then jump on Southwark Tube (Jubilee)

I took the train in the end. A2 was 60+ miles, which was excessive, and the other routes looked slow.
