Buying Audi approved used car

Does anyone have any guidelines with dealing with Audi in particular.

I been looking around at Audi A5 priced around 20-22k.

I read on a few audi forums how some have got 3k knocked off similarly priced cars. They also mention how Audi have a 60 day turn around period on used cars after which they sell at any cost even at a loss just to turn it round.

Is there any forum members have any tales of experiences and any tips when buying from Audi.

Thanks in advance.

Do your homework on the prices. That is the only way you'll know if you will get anything kmocked off the price.

Loads to choose from, so you can be picky. However, there are plenty of boggo ones out there.

2.7/3.0TDi are nice. As is the big petrol engined ones.

I read in the latest Whatcar, that they found a 2007 Audi A8 3.0TDI quattro LWB for £12k doesn't say where or how much mileage, but seems incredible, they just warn about the extra costs of insurance, road tax etc for these big cars.
    Hope this helps.

I had a A5 3.0TDI for two weeks whilst mine was in for repair. Great car, go for it, but shop around for a good deal.

    Thanks for your replies.
There are a shortage of decent 2nd Hand A5 TDis with reasonable miles. Thats why I was thinking about going down the main dealer route.

    Thanks again for all replies!
