finally started selling again (phew what a relief)

Wonder if it's because people have now had 2 pay packets since xmas?
I was getting very despondant and seriously considered shutting the ebay shop (still might), but I have had 3 sales since last night and plenty of watchers.
I seem to be selling the same things over and over so I really don't know if it's worth having a shop, although at £6 a month + listing fees it's quite cheap I suppose. I am severely cutting back though.
Shop visibility is definitely a problem though, I should be getting lots of shop sales as I have managed to get us to the very top of shop search listings, but it isn't happening, customers obviously aren't searching shops, they are only looking at normal listings.
there is a new competitor who seems to be copying my listing style plus undercutting everyone as well as offering 99p 1st class postage on things that cost minimum £1.39 second class.
I just hope that he doesn't find my "best sellers" suppliers ( I have 2 that nobody else on ebay seems to use). that stuff outsells everything else of ours 5-1, so if someone else starts selling them, I'm stuffed.
one particular item outsells everything else so I am contemplating putting the price up by £1.50 or so ( it's £10 at the moment), but I don't want to shoot myself in the foot. decisions, decisions!;)
