my husband is looking to buy a lens for his canon 600d can anyone please point me in the direction of any good offers? :j

    It depends on what he wants to use the lens for, to be honest.

    Can you tell us what subjects he wants to shoot? :)

    London Camera Exchange usually stock a good range of new and 2nd-hand lenses. But as LadyMorticia says, it all depends on what he intends to shoot.

    For instance, Landscapes are best shot with a 10-20mm lens. The only company that seems to make these is Sigma and they go for £120 upwards even on Fleabay.
    If his interest is in wildlife then a 75 - 300mm zoom lens and 1 2x and 4x teleconverter work best (if you want to see how good this combination works, google 'Colchester photo soc' and check-out the gallery section, particularly 'Rodney Woods').

    Without knowing his requirements (what he wants to shoot, etc) and his budget, it's difficult to recommend anything.....

    He recently joined a photography club and says he likes all subjects
