Please help, cheap flight needed from any scotland to manc - HELP

Hi there, iv got a funeral on friday and im really strapped for cash, its being held in Manchester, trains are v v pricey and it would take me half the day.

I would like to go early in morning and catch a later flight back home, i really want to go and pay my respects but getting from scotland is proving difficult.

Iv tried ryanair, easyjet and so on but they don't seem to have cities anywhere near manc, its all london and bristol.

I would appreciate your help

Don't think there are any direct flights Gla-Man or Pik- Man.

I tried the https://www.megatrain.com site for you as they do cheap Glasgow - Manchester returns. However there isn't anything for Friday 9th _ might be due to the accident on the West Coast line recently. There is a Megabus option coming up - leave Glasgow 08:30, arrive Man 13:00. Leave Man 17:00, arrive back Glasgow 22:00. It's a lot of travelling for only 4 hours there but the fare is a reasonable £25 return.

Hope you find some way of getting to be there.

Where are you coming from in Scotland ? Glasgow or Edinburgh or somewhere else ??
