Is restore point my best option?

I downloaded a upgraded version of a freecorder, thinking it would be better than my current one. It wasn't and I want my old version back but I can't find that version on the web anywhere.
Would I be able to get my old version back if I go back to the last restore point (which was 1pm today)? The restore point before that is 12/04 - a windows update.

It's possible, but not certain.
Try it, if it doesn't do as you want, you can undo the restore. How do I add a signature?0 -
Probably. Nothing to lose by trying, unless you've done loads of other updates since the restore point.
