My HP Laptop has minimised into 4 segments, with 4 cursors, how can I restore it to full screen please.

You could right-click the taskbar, and choose 'show windows stacked'.
Not sure whether this is what you mean.
Alternatively, if problem just recently occurred, try doing a 'restore', but back up everything first.
