A cheap option would be to go as a cowgirl - all you need is a denim skirt (charity shop if you dont have one) cut it off ..not too short...pop some fringing on the bottom. Find a top and sew the same fringing on the bottm of that. Cowboy hats are often in the pound shop...along with sheriff badges etc! Yeeehaaa!I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes

Get a cheap jacket from the charity shop. Stick on lumps of cheese, some cheese biscuits, some ham, blah blah blah. Get a sharpened piece of wood, and when someone asks, you are..... Buffet the Vampire Slayer. Boom tish.
I dont think the one where you turn up in your pants would be appropiate..."I'm not even supposed to be here today."0 -
i think ill give the lumps of cheese one a miss it will all start melting when im out but then i could pretend to be a cheese toastie !!
the cow girl one sounds good,
I was just thinking i could be a Thief with a Black and white stripey top a mask and a swag bag does anyone know where there are any black and white stripey tops out at the moment

I got dressed up a few months ago for my hen night - Claires accessories do a pack that had a black/silver handband in that was cats ears, a pin on tail and a bow tie type thing (I wore a fancy black top, black miniskirt and knee high boots with it). It doesn't sound much but at least I didn't look over the top and I got a few nice comments!0

burglar sounds good try new look for a cheap stripey top.0 -
Night & Day is an easy costume. Wear tee shirt & trousers/shorts fold PJs or nightie in half and wear on one side. Rollers in your hair on the night side and carry teddy bear and wear a slipper, normal hairstyle, sandal on the day side.
Hope you have a good time at the party.:hello: N:hello:A :hello:N :hello:A :hello:M :hello:A :hello:G :hello:S :hello:0 -
how about black trusers and a blue shirt borrow somes black braces and get a toy truncheon, gun and badge from the pound shop and presto -youre a cop!!Best Threads -
greenfingered - oldstyle - grabbit0 -
For the robber outfit why dont you buy a cheap white t shirt and draw black stripes on it with a black permanent marker pen. I think it would be a lot cheaper and less hassle than trying to find a stripey t shirt.
What about a saint trinions type school girl outfit. white blouse, school tie, black skirt and if you have long hair you could do plats.0
