Reclaim Life Insurance

My mother had a life insurance with AIG that was linked to her employer. She was fired a few years ago, but AIG (now UNAT Direct) kept on taking £1.50 a month via direct debit even though being unemployed and not working for that employer anymore.

How do I go about reclaiming this money? Through UNAT or the bank? Is there a template I can use? I've looked on this website's page but it seems to talk only about credit card insurance reclaims.

    you dont. If you buy products at special rates whilst you are employed and then leave employment it has no impact on the product you bought.
    Through UNAT or the bank?
