in Redundancy & redundancy planning
about to get made redundant and will be out of work for first time in 31 years:(

whilst I'll have a little cash from my payment, I've no other assets so does the redundancy payment count toward benefit entitlement

    Depends on the benefit.

    For JSA, it won't for the first six months as that is based on your NI contributions.

    Depending on how much it is it may affect any means tested benefits you apply for.
