Will your flight be leaving from the North or South Terminal?
Do you want car parking?
What time is your flight?Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
I haven't been to Gatwick for a few years, but used to use a place called 'Gainsborough Lodge': drive down, stay overnight, leave the car with them for a few pounds a day, and they'd do free minibus to the airport when flying out and back to the car when returning.
Of course it might have gone downhill since.0 -
I've been looking into doing the same, recommend using http://www.tripadvisor.com, it's been a great help to me.0

I second that.. we stayed at the Travelodge in Gatwick because of an early flight. There is a shuttle service. 3gbp per person i believe and it's quite quick... especially early morning! Having stayed in few travelodge i would say that the gatwick one is one of the better one!A friend is a present which you give yourself (R.Stevenson)

We stayed at the Gainsborough Lodge as well. Nice room (we actually had a converted flat with separate bedroom and a kitchen for the same price as we had young children with us) nice free breakfast and free shuttle bus. They picked us up within 10 minutes of us calling them when back at Gatwick and the car was nice and safe on their property. Helpful and friendly staff and great rates too. We paid about £120 for 15 nights parking, room with en-suite, breakfast and shuttle to and from the airport.0

My Mum and Dad recently stayed at the Skylane Hotel at Gatwick due to an early flight. They had brekfast and a shuttle bus to the airport and it was only £50 for the night (total). They didnt have a car with them , but booked with https://www.octopustravel . HTH0

Stayed at Travelodge last 2 times from Gatwick. very cheap , no problems.
you can also get room + a weeks Car parking for the same price ( or less) as a weeks car parking with stand alone car parking company.
Travelodge is nothing special but also perfectly satisfactory . Bar is lively and rooms + beds okay. Food is fine buta little expensive. Bar food option best choice IMO
Car Parking is very easy, secure , close and on airport site. .
Shuttle runs from both to the North and South terminals every 15 mins.
i always find , https://www.holidayextras.co.uk as good place to start price searching or you could use https://www.priceline.co.uk to grab someting better at a bargain priceBetter in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -
