There may be some codes going around so if you are going to buy, google Very codes beforehand and you may be able to save yourself some more money, also remember cashback sites!

Read the reviews, they seem pretty good.

I would be interested to see alternative to compare it to though... off to find some!

OK, this one on Amazon is half the price and has equally good reviews... though not as well built so probably won't last as long...

I am tempted by this one...

but the OP's one still looks good!

grrr paid full price for this!. I swear by mine, being lazy and all. To clean the ceramic tiles in the kitchen I first hoover to get the loose bits up then steam with the vax - if anything is stuck fast leave the steamer on it a bit longer - then finally do the "titchmarsh shuffle" on an old towel - ie stand on a towel and shuffle up and down up and down until the floor is dried, which gets the final dirt off. It only takes about 20 mins now and the floor is lovely. Highly recommended. Haven't tried a cheaper version though except the type that strip wallpaper.HTH

I was watching this one on tv last night, has loads of attachments to do all sorts of jobs, I'm toying with the idea it's got good reviews

Do any of these clean carpets as well? I mean clean and not just refresh. Any recommendations of cleaners that do hard floor as well as carpet would be appreciated. Thanks
