Thats what I fancy - I still have not ventured to buy one but still looking - please let me know what you think of it. The recon ones from their site look ok - I think they use them for demos etc
Saving in my terramundi pot £2, £1 and 50p just for me! :j

My Bissell ProHeat is my pride and joy. I just love, love, love that thing. I have small children, so I really appreciate being able to clean the sofa once in a while. I've only done the carpets once, so far. I consider that a yearly thing to do (and my carpets are navy blue, so it's not urgent.) I would feel silly renting a machine just to clean my sofa, so I'm glad I have my own machine.

I've used Stardrops in mine, but I'm going to look for the Astonish stuff mentioned upthread.

  • I have just bought a Bissell Proheat ( the highest spec one) today, on my friend's recommendation. She has a dog that loves mud and the Bissell has been fantastic on her carpets. I saw the reconditioned ones on the website, but noticed that it was one of this weeks "specials" at Macro, so I have just got it at the bargain price of £117.49-the full price is £299!
I'll let you know how I get on with it.
