Quick ppi reclaim question

hello everyone

We took a loan out with Natwest many years ago, probably about 6, and we took out ppi

Now the loan was in my huubys name and so was the ppi, about 4 years ago he had to go on sick after an accident and we went to claim on the ppi and they tld us that we couldnt due to the loan and the ppi being in my name

I have no idea how that happened as i wasnt working and had no income.

Now we never paid the loan off and still owe 7k we have never had any demand letters from natwest over this debt but it is on my credit file and not my husbands - we never paid it back due to not being able t afford the repayments because of unemployment

can i claim the ppi back?

Thanks

I certainly sounds like a missale. I would bang in a complaint on the grounds that they ought to have known that they would not pay.

sorry if ive misunderstood, you said the PPI and loan was in his name, then you said you were told the PPI was in your name, so are you sure you werent on the loan too?

then you said its on your credit file, so everything suggests you have it all wrong and you had the loan. If the loan was in his name, it would appear on his credit profile.
