What if a loan starts over 6 years ago but ends 4 years ago?

Hi,
Just a SAR question. I had a loan that started in 2003 but ended in 2007. Bearing in mind the banks only have to keep records for the last 6 years, would an SAR only get the last year of the loan details with no loan agreement or would it be the whole loan details?
(I know some will say 'Just send an SAR it anyway' and i have, but im just curious as to what will happen)
Thank you.

Some get info from way back, you should get the agreement but request all info they hold on you and not just specific items.0
