why can't buyers be nicer sometimes?

Just a moan really, sold something Tuesday, buyer paid in the early hours of Thursday and I posted on Thursday and emailed to say it was on its way.
I've just had a rather aggresive email saying she is shocked that I cannot get her item to her within a reasonable time frame despite her having paid extra for 1st class, so can I please explain to her *exactly* where package currently is so she can go and get it at great inconvenience to herself
I have emailed back saying it has been less than a week, but I've just noticed her confirmed address is a work address in a large company...all my problems so far have been to work addresses where people have accepted parcels and forgotten to pass them on.
This is possibly my second lost parcel in the past couple of days Grrr. What ever happened to the polite 'hi, I don't appear to have my item can you let me know whether it was sent on time' type of email?

Dear Buyer,
I am shocked that you expect priority service despite taking over a day to pay. As I don't have a time machine, I was unable to post prior to your payment on Thursday morning.
Perhaps you should speak to your colleagues in that dodgy office of yours - they're clearly enjoying the item they didn't bother to pass on to you. I'm shocked that you choose to work with such dishonest people.
Or maybe you shoud be speaking to the postman - you know how slow they are nowadays - really, it was negligent of you to allow your item to be posted in the first place.
P.S. Get a grip.
Now, back to the real world...My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
Thanks Fay.
I suppose I was shocked by the tone of the email and it rather took me aback...I am trying my hardest here to keep to my shipping within my personal 24 hours target, and I just took the email personally and almost decided to give up

what more can you do than post first class on the same day she paid?0

A really top class seller would have ordered a motorcycle courier to bike it to the buyer (no matter how far away they were) at no extra expense.pinkgem wrote:what more can you do than post first class on the same day she paid?
And refunded the payment since it took over an hour to arrive.
Sellers really do need to try harder.0 -

Why can’t sellers be nicer?
I bought two items from two separate sellers, both for collection from North London. I live in NW Surrey so it is a 2 to 3 hour round trip on the wonderful North Circular.
The sellers are a mile apart and I have a pal in North London who was overdue a visit so I arranged to collect both items Saturday morning and then go and have a few beers and watch the Liverpool Man U match with my friend.
I rang both sellers before setting off. One replied and confirmed she was in and expecting me but there was no answer from the other seller. No matter, he had said he would leave the item with a flatmate if he had to go out.
He was not at home and there was no answer from his doorbell or mobile and no note on the door. I collected the other item ok and returned. Still no answer.
I went to meet my pal and we went to his sports club for a few nice beers and to watch the match. Both of us are passionate Liverpool fans so you can imagine how that late late Man U winner made me feel.
I eventually got a phone call from the guy mid afternoon to say he had had to go out all day and that we had not made a definite arrangement and it was all my fault for not being definite about collecting on Saturday.
Bloody rubbish, I could not have been more specific. I felt like telling him to take a hike but I had to be a bit restrained as the item I bought is an absolute bargain and I really want it at the price I paid. I will just have to go back again sometime.
Rant over.
