Phone or Answering service...help please

Can anybody help..looking for a phone or a service
basically want a service that answers (welcome to yada,yadayada, unfortunately all our operators are busy at the moment, please leave a message and we will get back to you) currently a 1 man band , I already have a 0845 number so it would be directed to that
Has to be cheap,or even free!!!!!!!!

Try yac.co.uk mate. Free if you accept a standard message. They do 07092 premium rate (mobile) and 0870. You can direct them or let a voicemail pick up the calls. You can also set it so it emails any voicemail. I've used them for about 6 years. I run a couple of online businesses that I have a 0870 on the sites for people to call for extra comfort. However all my calls go to voicemail and get emailed me so that I can choose when to call them back.

I am confused by what you want.... from your requirements it sounds that you simply want an answerphone.

There are plenty of services out there that will actually have a real person answer your call and can answer basic questions from a brief your provide or take a message and "get the relevant department to call you back" type thing.

Agree with this - why not just get an answerphone? Is an 0845 number that much of a help - many phone packages now offer inclusive calls but specifically charge for 08 numbers.

P.S - Nothing makes me less inclined to do business with a company than hearing an answerphone message including the phrase 'your call is important to us....':mad: :mad: :mad:
