Tax credit calculation

Not so much a problem, just a query. The rate that the benefit checker on this site says that I should be entitled to is over £50 a week more than I actually receive.
Is the checker really this innacuarate or should I be asking tax credits to review the amount that I receive?

i work 25 hours a week, lone parent to 3 children aged 14, 9 and 6, I earn £185 per week before tax, i do not receive any income from my ex, bar the odd £20 when he visits the children.
I do not have any other income that would effect tc calculation (i do receive some hb and ctb)
thanks

Which calculator are you using?
What was your income in 10/11, 11/12?
